Today is a special day for Miss ZIMBO Culture Pageant as we witness the signing of a partnership MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING MOU between Maz Arts and Culture, and FGTG Travel and Tours
Maz Arts and Culture is responding to a call to action by our government through the National Development Strategy Two NDS2, in particular the 6th pillar:
“Job creation, youth development, creative industry and CULTURE”
We are hereby applauding the spirit of collective collaboration as we compliment the efforts of the Cultural Ambassador of Zimbabwe, Ministry of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture as well as National Arts Council of Zimbabwe in restoring and preserving our culture and heritage.
FGTG Travel and Tours and Maz Arts and Culture share a common vision of empowering the girl child. Hence, the collaboration aimed at uplifting the welfare of our women.
Miss ZIMBO Culture Pageant is here to promote our rich cultural heritage, to restore and preserve our country’s cultural values by persuading and encouraging young women to embrace their identity and celebrate their heritage.
Our vision is to groom a proud Zimbabwean girl whose values are anchored on UBUNTU..
We are here to search for that QUEEN who will stand and become the voice of the VOICELESS
Globalisation and deliberate acts of sabotage and destabilisation of our cultures will not be tolerated and allowed to divert our focus..
Miss ZIMBO Culture will lead the way.
We believe that a cultured Zimbo woman must dress modestly and respect our Chiefs, traditional leaders, pastors, prophets, and Elders in our communities
Miss ZIMBO Culture ideology differentiates us from the rest specifically by not abusing the word “CULTURE”
Our categories will not have the swimwear or swimsuit moments. In short, there’s no room for Bikini show in Miss ZIMBO Culture Pageant
From the beginning, we have been saying:
“No to artificial hair”
Let’s go easy, let’s go natural and save money.
As we reclaim our culture, we do so not only as a duty to retain our young people to the right path that our God, Musikavanhu intended us to walk, but also as a reminder to pass our rich culture and heritage to the next generation in good state.
FGTG Travel and Tours brings on board a new dimension on our quest to preserve our culture. Indeed, they will help our models to travel safely, locally, regionally, and internationally, an important catalyst in the cultural tourism industry. They are also masters of empowerment with a capacity to offer sporting and cultural tourism activities, which Miss ZIMBO Culture will benefit from.
Miss ZIMBO Culture doesn’t belong to any of us but to ALL of us
We have no doubt that this partnership will bring out a spectacular and glamorous finale and CROWNING Ceremony on the 25th of May
